The Process

Assess

From the start, I’ll assess your diet, lifestyle, and health history through a thorough intake process. I’ll begin connecting dots between disease and diet, and formulate an initial plan to help get you started on the path to feeling better, while you are choosing which testing and Holistic Health Rebuilding Program is right for you.

Program & Plan

After selecting your program, we'll initiate the Foundations program. This internal process includes personalized one-on-one coaching sessions to help you establish key stepping stones. Simultaneously, we'll order test kits and await your results. Once the lab work is complete, we'll develop a detailed, personalized plan with specific recommendations to rebalance and restore your health.

progress

On-going coaching will help you continue to build upon your foundational and personalized strategies. We will refine and adjust your plan as your body adapts to your new efforts. You’ll receive on-going support, education, tools to equip you, and have a guide by your side to navigate through the ups and downs to the finish line.

    Self-care is essential to physical and psychological wellness. Realigning your habits to serve your values sets you on a path of freedom. Functional nutrition counseling is compassionate yet determined to help you become more aware of your needs and to develop practices to nurture yourself back to good health.

    The sweet life is rooted in natural foods and practices where our bodies and minds thrive. Discover the delight of a nutritious diet and how to proactively plan to feel more relaxed and also in control. A personalized path for your health journey awaits, one that can be successful, sustainable and sweetly satisfying!

shame-free

It’s been said that this process of uncovering root causes and treating conditions at their source “heals shame.”

I think you will discover it’s not your fault, your body has not betrayed you, and there’s no need to carry shame for the decisions you’ve made up to this point.

Now that you are ready to do things a little differently, I’m here to help. This is a safe space to reclaim your self-confidence.

What I hope from you:

be brave

You likely have concerns about if or how this could work for you. You may fear you’ll fail, and you’re so tired of getting your hopes up. I understand. I felt that way too.

If you are willing to be brave, I believe this process of uncovering hidden stressors lingering in your body, creating chaos in your system, blocking the way to balance could be what’s been missing. It was for me and for many others too.

Brave doesn’t mean fearless, it means facing fear and taking steps in a new direction anyway. I believe success comes to those who decide daily to be brave.

unwavering honesty

I call this a process of “hard-won wellness”.

Facing the dysfunctions that have been damaging your body takes a level of rugged toughness. Digging out of the cycle of trial and error and dieting also takes hard work.

There is no free-way or fast-way, but there is a HIGH-WAY to health. Like climbing a mountain, having a guide by your side who will be honest with you every step of the way speaking hard truths and holding you to high standards will help you reach the summit.

Be open

Working together you are going to learn so many things you’ve never before learned about yourself. You’ll learn more about your body, your brain, your needs, your obstacles, your opportunities, and you will also be shown how to “unlearn” things you previously thought served you - but didn’t.

When you come to this work ready, willing, and open to the behavioral-change process, you will experience changes that previously have been elusive. My intention is to offer you the tools to continue to have sustainable, healthy changes available to you for the rest of your life!
